The Okefenokee Swamp covers 438,000 acres, and gives visitors many oppurtunities to explore its beauty. A winding boardwalk trail leads to an observation tower that allows visitors to get a better view of the swamp. Boat tours are available for those wanting to see the swamp by water. For those wanting to truly expirience the Okefenokee Swamp, rent a canoe or kayak and pitch a tent on one of the camping platforms.
