The Bicycle Ride Across Georgia, or BRAG, just finished their Winter Ride, and the group made a stop in St. Marys for a few nights. They chose St. Marys because of its central location to several of the places that they wanted to visit. Such as the Cumberland Sound Ferry, an alternate leg of the East Coast Greenway, which departs from downtown St. Marys, GA and takes you to Amelia Island, FL.
After enjoying a nice ride on Amelia Island, the next destination was the Okefenokee Swamp in Folkston, GA. There they visited the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge where they paired a nice bike ride with a lesson on the ecology of the swamp.
